The guide rods and sliding support is welded to the inner face of the flange and is separated by approximately 50mm from each other.

In any case, the free passage area will be less than 150% of the area of the lower circle of the suction pipe.

The material of the guide rods and support will be equal to the tee and flange. The grid will be stainless steel. 18/8, if a different one is not indicated.

For diameters less than 2” we will use filters in” Y “, and commercials.

The manufacture of these filters must ensure its resistance to possible vibrations, fluid pressure, pulsating flows or impact of the fluid entrained solids.

Since the diameter of the suction flange of the pump can be equal to or less than the filter you (or suction), to clarify that the diameters and the inner circle area considered in the table are the tee, and when the suction flange of the pump is of minor diameter than those percentages of the area of the inner circle of the pipe obtained in the filter increase.

Raftings 150 # and 300 # correspond to the flange W.N. tee, since the length of the flange is different for each, the length C of the filter will also be different.

What is a Wet Barrel Hydrant?

It’s a type of hydrant used on areas where no freezing temperatures are expected, and the possibility of mechanical damage is limited. Wet barrel hydrants are constantly filled with water and each outlet is fitted with its own valve, quick connection and has the possibility to be individually actuated.
